Hi there!

I’m Karin.

I’ve been working with data for over 7 years—sometimes closer to the numbers, sometimes a bit more on the coordination side, but always with the same goal: making things easier to understand.

I enjoy turning messy situations into something structured.
When numbers start telling a story.
And when someone looks at a dashboard and thinks, “Ah, now this makes sense.”

A big part of my work is making that happen—through BI and reporting solutions (for example with Power BI), but also through project work, alignment, and bringing structure to complex topics.
I have several years of experience managing data and BI projects, and I regularly work in agile setups, including in the role of Scrum Master.

What I find particularly interesting is the space between business and IT—
that point where requirements are still vague, and need to be shaped into something tangible.

Outside of work, I’m very interested in languages.
I volunteer as a subtitle translator (English → German) for Asian series on Viki, and I’m working towards eventually translating Korean → English as well.
